Kylie Minogue has met her nephew for the first time over the internet.

' singer couldn't wait until she had finished her European promotional tour for new album 'Aphrodite' to meet sister Dannii's son Ethan - who was born in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday (05.07.10) - so the siblings took to their laptops and beamed the baby across the web.

And proud Aunt Kylie was delighted with her new nephew.

A source said: "When Kylie saw Ethan she said, 'He's gorgeous.' "

Dannii has now posted a picture of the baby - her first child with British boyfriend Kris Smith, 31 - on twitter so all her fans can meet the new arrival.

She wrote: "Hey everyone thanks for all your wishes, we are loving baby Ethan and Kris is the best dad in the world. X"

Kylie is expected to head home to Australia later this month to meet her nephew in person.

Announcing just last month that their family is expecting a new addition, John Travolta is reportedly a bit stressed out worrying over wife Kelly Preston's pregnancy health.

With the family having lost 16-year-old son Jett in 2009, a source tells of the situation, “John and Kelly have been through so much recently that they are understandably being cautious about the whole thing."

The insider continues, “John is particularly nervous for his wife and their babies. He never stops fussing over Kelly and insists she has a doctor on hand 24 hours a day. Kelly is doing her best to put him at ease but it’s not easy.”

And with Kelly being on the older side of mothers-to-be at 47, it has put even more focus on making sure everything goes properly.
