King wants the 'American Idol' host to take his CNN post when he leaves it

Ryan Seacrest is Larry King’s Mrs. Jones, in that the two may have a thing goin’ on.
According to a report by USA Today, the retiring CNN moderator has indicated that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is his choice for the question of who will replace him after he leaves his show.
“He's my favorite,” King said of Seacrest. “It's subjective because he's my friend, but I think he'd be immediately accepted. The camera likes him and he's a great generalist."
King also commented on possible replacement Piers Morgan, who is said to be the frontrunner for the job.
“First, I don’t know him,” he said in an interview with Forbes. “I assume I’d like him. Most Americans wouldn't [know him] unless you watch America's Got Talent. And if you watch that, you only know him as a judge. You don't know him as a host. I've never seen him interview [anyone] but I hear he's quite good."
The host then addressed other possible replacements, such as CNN’s Anderson Cooper and CBS’s Katie Couric.

Cheryl Cole is having specially-made food brought to hospital.
The 'Fight for This Love' singer - who is battling potentially fatal tropical disease malaria - has asked her mother Joan Callaghan to prepare her favourite childhood meals because the meals served in her private London hospital were too "fancy".
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's definitely helping to cheer her up.
"There were things like quails eggs on the menu. But fancy foods aren't Cheryl's way.
"She's from a real working-class background and the home-made meals are a nice reminder from her childhood days."
The 27-year-old beauty has also been allowed to bend rules by keeping her leftover food - which has included pease pudding, Craster kippers from Northumberland smokehouses with scrambled eggs and Joan's homemade ham and lentil soup - in the staff fridge for when she gets hungry.
It was revealed yesterday (14.07.10) that Cheryl has banned all visitors except Joan and dancer Derek Hough- who she is rumoured to be dating - from visiting her in hospital.

Kelly Osbourne is "not dealing" with her split from Luke Worrall very well.
The TV star is struggling to come to terms with the fact her fiance - who she has dated for two years - cheated on her with another woman and is finding it difficult to stay positive about the situation.
In the early hours of this morning (15.07.10), she tweeted: "i am not dealing with this very well :( keeping your head up is not fun! going to bed thank god for tomorrow!(sic)"
The 25-year-old starlet's saddened note follows a series of other online posts, including one where she confirmed the split in an angry twitter post to a journalist who claimed it was ok for Luke to cheat because she was "frightening".
Kelly wrote to blogger Dan Brickley: "Thanx your a really sweet heart so what your saying is that im ugly so it was ok for him to cheat go f**k yourself!!!!!(sic)"
However, in a later message, Kelly's emotions seemed to have improved slightly.
She wrote: "you can take my heart but NEVER my sense of humor!(sic)"
This was followed by, "i have decided to comment through song and i believe en vogue says it best!(sic)" alongside a link to a video of the R'n'B group's 90s hit 'My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)'.
The reality TV star - who is the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne - recently admitted her shock at still being with the 20-year-old model.
