After a lengthy five year engagement, NBA star Carmelo Anthony and his fiancée, LaLa Vazquez will finally tie the knot this summer in front of their friends and family, Vazquez announced Wednesday on the Wendy Williams Show.

And that's not all! The former MTV Veejay, who is currently in New York to check out wedding venues and designers, will have a little bit of glitzy help in planning her upcoming nuptials. Vazquez and her Denver Nugget All-Star fiancé have hired celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss to plan their big day. Weiss has planned weddings for a bevy of A-listers, including Heidi Klum, Shaquille O'Neal and Gwen Stefani. "I like her work so I hired her to come on board for my wedding," Vazquez told Williams.

Although she hasn't yet picked her bridal party, Vazquez assures her celebrity pals, like Kim Kardashian and Solange Knowles, "will be in it in some capacity." As for the guest list? Expect a grand affair. "Maybe 250-300 people ... Everybody's been waiting for it so long, we might as well invite everybody to come hang out," she laughed.
